• Letters ... from us, to you!

  We were delighted to receive over 50 nominations for individuals who you thought would benefit from a receiving a selection of letters written by our wonderful Year 5 and 6 children. Today, we posted 52 letters to members of the local community, who are shielding, missing having visitors round or just in need of a smile during these tricky times. We have also sent our letters to the local care homes in Barton to help bring a smile to the faces of their residents.

  We have had a fantastic response to our call for nominations of local people who you think would really benefit from a letter, hand-written by one of lovely Year 5 and 6 pupils.

   

  It's not too late to make a nomination! See the details below and get in touch with us by the end of this week:

   

  In a couple of weeks time, the children in Year 5 and 6 will be writing letters to the residents of the local care homes. We did this several times earlier this year and the residents found our children's letters to be a real source of enjoyment. Our children loved reading the replies, too!

   

  If you know of a member of our community who would also benefit from a letter, perhaps they live on their own, are elderly or are not having many visitors at the moment, we would love to hear from you.
