• New additions to the library

  Two beautiful boxes of books arrived today for our library. We have bought the top forty new releases for ks2.  Ks1 next term 

  

• Holocaust Memorial Day

  On Monday we took a group of children to the Holocaust Memorial Service in Scunthorpe where some year 6 children shared a reading from a book we have studied called Helga’s Diary by Helga Weiss , a holocaust survivor 

  

• Key Stage 2 Swimming Gala

  What a great time our school team had at the Key Stage Two Swimming Gala! We are very proud of all of our competitors! 

  

• Barton And District Athletics Club 40th Cross Country 2020

  On Sunday 19th January, Miss Brack, Miss Oxley and Miss Sandon met a group of children in the park who had asked to be part of the school team for this event. Using some special money the school paid the entry fee so more of us could have a go.  It was cold, wet and muddy but we had a great time and did really well.

  Miss Brack and Miss Oxley ran the adult event; they had less fun as the ground had been made even muddier by the children
