Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
The children came back into school whilst it was dark. They came all wrapped up with their torches, ready to see how different the school looked in the dark. We followed a trail of reflectors around the school. We explored the playground to find different people who worked at nighttime and then the gardens to see which norctornal animals we could find. Then we returned to the classroom for a hot chocolate and a biscuit (or 2!) Our nighttime adventure was so much fun!
As you know in the Autumn term we ran our enterprise project where all classes designed and made a product and you helped us raise funds by buying the final items. Elm 1 made the most profit and so were charged with deciding where to spend the profits. They donated some to the Food Bank and this week they decided to spend some on the lunchtime games room. This is where children can go if they would prefer not to be outdoors. This encourages children to work co operative and take turns. Thank you Elm 1
On Tuesday the whole school took part in assemblies and workshops with the NSPCC around speaking out and staying safe. We all met “ Buddy” who helped us to understand how important it is to speak out if something is worrying us.
