Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
At the end of this first half term, we have achieved 97.3% in whole school attendance. This is a great start to the school year. Everyday in school matters - we would like to thank parents, carers and families for their continued support with helping our children achieve the best attendance as possible.
Thank you
Look out for the Book in a Box (or bottle!) competition slip coming home soon! This is the chance for your child to showcase their love of reading through art and creativity...
We can't wait to see your entries - look out for the letter which will be sent home with your child next week.
Parents/carers,
Over the next few days, look out for an insert that will be stuck into your child's reading diary - this document will give you a list of example questions to support you with reading at home. We hope you find it useful and an enjoyable way to help ensure home reading is a valuable experience for you and your child.
Thankyou
Year 6 had a great afternoon on Monday taking part in the Road Safety Drama Workshop. They devised their own role plays to show unsafe road behaviour and then had the chance to 'rewind' their drama to show safe road behaviours - the way we should behave when we're out and about using local roads. There was some hot seating too!
The team from Safer Roads Humber will be back in the summer term to do a follow-up visit. We can't wait!
Many thanks to all of the parents who attended this evening's Big Talk Education session to learn about our SRE programme
We hope you found it useful.
All children will be having lessons with Big Talk on Friday 4th October
